I am a little confused as to how I am supposed to be updating and asking the aidpage community....The whole time I have been putting things in MY BLOG thinking it would be available to everyone! Ok OK so Im not all that savvy with technology! I have some new and important updated info but to much to re do here so PLEASE go check it out on my page....THERE IS VERY GOOD INFO FOR FAMILIES IN NEED OF CHRISTMAS HELP ALL THE WAY TO WHATEVER IT IS YOU NEED or WANT! I posted a profile with them a yr ago when my mess started and yesterday I wished for cards,"santa letters" or 1 gift for my kids and I have had 3 people offer to grant my wish .....I hope you all find it works for you as well!!! Wanted to say that you are amazing...I have worked 10 + hrs a day trying to find the resources that fit MY family crisis...even my advocate has run into a wall with most funding I do qualify for is depleated and her search has been vigilant.I went onto modestneeds.org from your site and within hrs I was qualified for a grant that will totally eliminate ALL stress due to financial issues as well as provide the saftey and stability we so desperately need. I have not yet completed the app. for review because I am confused a bit and need to contact them so I make NO MISTAKES and the info they need has to be EXACTLY what they need and I also know even tho I have quailfied it is not a GUARENTEE of getting the grant but in a few hrs I got closer to ANY HOPEFUL ASSISTANCE than my advocate and I together found in 3 mon! Just as I was done learning about this site and posting my aidpage grasping for any other resources I have missed or a miracle I recieved a phone call . My Advocate that I have been working with for the last 3 mon was calling to inform me that she had spoken to the G.A.L. (guardian ad leitum) and as the lawyer for the "best intrest" of the children had explained to my advocate that on the 30th of this mon. -This up comming Wed. The requested "expadited hearing" filed from him to the court asking to hear his findings and give me emergency order allowing me relocate out of state asap,(we were set for an Oct 7th date but his findings were that we are in eminent danger and High risk for harm)I was happy to have it moved to sooner date to finalize it all but now finding that #1. If the Judge for any reason does NOT grant my request to relocate HE the G.A.L. will be obligated serving in the best intrest of children to contact C.P.S. due to his worries of being located by my husband and harmed them or myself. AND if the Judge DOES geant the emergency relocation I will have a very limited time of a few days to leave with the kids or he will again be OBLIGATED to contact C.P.S. and inform them of his concerns of "eminent harm" to the kids. My husband was released last week and as of now there is NO WAY I CAN PULL THIS OFF! I need more time but the issues and concerns are so complicated it changes daily and it is all so fast and hard to know where,when,what to do. NEVER in a million years would I ever have seen or pictured that I would be facing such a devistating situation and then also having absolutely NO CONTROLL or ability to fix it. I know there are MANY families dealing with simmular and overwhelming events as we are and if ANYONE has gone BEFORE ME and gotten to the other side PLEASE PLEASE contact me with ANY info or advice on how to get my family to the other side. I have 3 possesions left that are now going out asap for sale to generate whatever I can. 2 original HOPI native american drawings that I will be lucky to find a person with intrest in "special" collector items an a stupid 60 in T.V. that Im giving to the pawn shop......I will do whatever it takes to keep my kids close and safe and responsible emergency typy advice will be welcomed and followed. Just wanted to say "blessings to you" for saying exactly what I NEEDED to hear today! I am so overwhelmed and in shock about the crisis in my family and it is happening so fast it does seem at times that there is nothing left for anyone to take or do or say and then I remember the 5 reasons I chose Homelessness over violence,,,MY KIDS! I have 3 (2 w dissabilities) and one little one with me but I also have 2 over 19 thankfully didnt have to live thru this mess. I Pray and stay as possitive as possible and as dark and hard as it gets,words of a stranger can change the day!! Again, thank you and many blessings to you and yours!!!!!!!!1

Wow....There are tons of grants,emergency assistance,TANF cash ass. ,titleXX social services block grant,the list is long but the funds are gone! I have been on line litteraly for hours every night from the day we fled for safety and also working with a advocate from Family services and a network of people involved in my childrens services due to special needs....The best I was offered was 350.00 tward a deposit for a rental ,,,IT WAS A HUGE STEP and was so greatful to find the resource avail. but it fell thru because the rest of the funding was not in order. The next family in line gets it. Even the new Federal funds given out to states and county agencies to take a fast solution to growing homless or almost homless called the HOMLESS PREVENTION AND RAPID RE HOUSING PROJECT.....giving a substantial funding source to people in crisis loosing jobs and homes due to the economic issues we face allots millions of dollars to get homless people into homes ,paying move in cost rent ,bills,and all costs to get a family back on their feet continuing financial asst. on individual family needs for up to as long as 18 mo. The goal is to put families back on their feet so self sufficiency can be acomplished once the initial crisis is past. Also paying past due rents and bills and whatever a family may need to keep the home they have untill they can achieve self sufficency, The only problem is that the fedreal funds passed down to state then the state decides what "Group" of people it would be most helpfull to and in my state I was told that even tho I have an income I can use to become self suff. I do not qualify because I became homless due to a act of domestic violence and that the "group" it funds are homless persons that became or a in process of becoming homless due to the loss of wages or loss of a job! I can read the HUD guidelines and ,The HPRP fits exactly what I need and also says I DO QUALIFY but the state says different!I have tried everything I can find and would really be greatful if someone that understood theese funding grants and assistance could lead me in the right direction before My kids and I run out of time!!!!!!!
